Abstract:

PURPOSE:To smoothly extend and contract the bellows in the curvature direction by forming the whole of the bellows into nearly fan shape. CONSTITUTION:A bellows 10 is constituted of a body 11, supporting shaft 12, and two supporting members 13 and 14. The body 11 has a nearly fan-shaped form and has the connecting ports 15 and 16 with pipings at the both edges, and the inside is made vacant. The extension and contraction distance of the bellows part on the right side is small, and that of the bellows part on the left side is made large. When the pipings 17 and 18 are connected with the connection ports 15 and 16, the bellows 10 is allowed to correspond sufficiently even if an angle is formed between two pipings. Further, even if the temperature difference between the inside and outside parts is generated, the body 11 is extended and contracted in the curvature direction, keeping the supporting shaft 12 as center, and a lateral load is hardly applied onto the pipings.
