Abstract:
To provide a method for producing a bed plate capable of weight saving.SOLUTION: A method for producing a bed plate comprises a process where, into both sides of a metallic crank cap arranged at a mold, a molten metal of a material different from that of the crank cap is injected to form side parts on both the sides of the crank cap. The mold includes: a first injection port located at one side of the crank cap and a first exhaust port; a second injection port located at the other side opposite to the first injection port with the crank cap held and a second exhaust port; and a cavity. The molten metal is injected from the first injection port and the second injection port and flows through the cavity, the crank cap has a hollow at the central part, and the hollow is not exposed to the cavity.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
