Abstract:
To facilitate attachment/detachment of a cover in a bearing unit having a cover attachment structure.SOLUTION: A bearing unit 1 includes: a bearing 10; a bearing box 25 provided at the inner side of the bearing 10; and a cover 15 attached to the bearing box 25 so as to cover one axial side of the bearing 10. An outer periphery part of the cover 15 is formed with multiple protruding parts 43 protruding outward. An inner periphery part of the bearing box 25 is formed with multiple groove parts 36 capable of introducing the multiple protruding parts 43 as grooves each having an inlet 36a and extending from the inlet 36a side in a circumferential direction. In the bearing unit 1, the cover 15 is rotated to move each protruding part 43 between the inlet 36a side and the back side in each groove part 36 and thereby attach or detach the cover 15.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5
