Abstract:
To accurately detect a post-assembling preload of a bearing device.SOLUTION: A bearing device (1) comprises two bearings (5a, 5b) for supporting a spindle (4), an inner ring spacer (6i), an outer ring spacer (6g), a load sensor (143) for detecting a load in an axial direction applied on the outer ring spacer (6g), a deformation amount sensor (144) for detecting a deformation amount in the axial direction of the outer ring spacer (6g), a shaft nut (8), press lids (10, 20) and a control device. The control device acquires the load detected by the load sensor (143) as an initial preload F1 in a state that the shaft nut (8) is fastened, and the press lids (10, 20) are not fastened, calculates a reduction amount F3 of the preload on the basis of a deformation amount detected by the deformation amount sensor (144) in a state that the shaft nut (8) is fastened, and the press lids (10, 20) are fastened, and calculates a load which is obtained by subtracting the reduction amount F3 of the preload from the initial preload F1 as a post-assembling preload F4.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
