Abstract:
To accurately adjust a bearing clearance of a bearing to a design value when the bearing is assembled alone.SOLUTION: A bearing clearance adjustment assisting device 10 is for assisting adjustment of the bearing clearance between a rotating shaft inserted into a bearing 11 and the bearing. The bearing clearance adjustment assisting device includes: a simulated rotating shaft 22; movement means for moving the simulated rotating shaft inserted into the bearing in the radial direction thereof; displacement measurement means 24 for measuring the displacement in the radial direction of the simulated rotating shaft moved by the movement means; record means 25 for recording the measured value of the displacement measurement means; display means 26 for displaying the measured value recorded by the record means as a moving locus of the simulated rotating shaft by using coordinates on a plane perpendicular to the center axis P of the bearing; and determination means 27 for calculating respectively the clearances between the simulated rotating shaft and the bearing at a plurality of positions in the circumferential direction of the bearing as bearing clearances, from the moving locus of the simulated rotating shaft displayed by the display means.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
