Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a battery, etc. that can suppress a separator layer and a second active material layer from peeling off at a joint portion bent in a thickness direction in a battery having a joint stacking type electrode body.SOLUTION: A battery 1 includes a joint stacking type electrode body 20 in which plural first electrode plates 21 and plural composite second electrode plates 37 are alternately stacked, the composite second electrode plate 37 being joined to another composite second electrode plate 37 through a joint portion 41 to form a joint electrode plate 47. The connecting portion 41 is bent in the thickness direction HH thereof, and contains a removed joint portion 43 in which a current collector joint portion 42 is exposed by removing, with laser irradiation, a second active material layer 33 and a separator layer 35 which is formed so as to extend to the joint portion 41 in a joint width direction LH perpendicular to a joint direction KH.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
