Abstract:
To provide an axial force calculation device which can easily, highly accurately and repeatedly measure the axial force in which an error due to an eccentricity is reduced in a non-contact manner for a long period even if there is the eccentricity in a fastening element being a measurement object.SOLUTION: An axial force calculation device for calculating the axial force of a fastening element comprises: a digital camera which captures an image of the fastening element being a measurement object; and a computing machine which processes the image. The digital camera captures an image for detecting the change in a random pattern formed on the surface of the fastening element. The computing machine comprises: an image correlation analysis unit which performs image correlation analysis on the basis of the image for detecting the change to calculate the distortion distribution; an eccentricity amount calculation unit which calculates an eccentricity amount of the fastening element from the distortion distribution; and an axial force calculation unit which calculates the axial force of the fastening element on the basis of the distortion distribution and eccentricity amount. The axial force calculation unit corrects an error of the axial force due to the eccentricity of the fastening element on the basis of the eccentricity amount.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
