Title:
AUTOMATIC TUNING FOR POSITIONING CONTROL CIRCUIT FOR SERVO DEVICE
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPH08227317
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

To attain tuning without any manual movement of a servo valve, any use of a switch or a potentiometer, or any removal of an inputting and outputting substrate.

A position control circuit 70 is provided with a demodulator 22 having an automatic tuning capability used in an electrohydrallic positoning system used for the positioning of a servo device. A positioning control circuit 70 includes a demodulator 22, analog/digital converter 28 having an input voltage range, and microcontroller 26. The demodulator 22 has a certain gain, and converts a feedback signal from the servo device into a position signal having a lower voltage value when the service device is at a 0% position, and into a position signal having an upper voltage value when the servo device is at a 100% position. The lower voltage value and the upper voltage value are the function of the demodulator gain. At the time of operator activation, a microcontroller 26 automatically calculates the maximum value for the demodulator gain for generating the position signal from the demodulator 22 having the lower voltage value within a lower voltage range and the upper voltage value within an upper voltage range, and the lower voltage range and the upper voltage range are within the input voltage range of the analog/digital converter 28.
