Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an attaching structure for an instrument panel, which can facilitate the attachment thereof, which has a satisfactory appearance and which can flexibly cope with dimensional accuracy and variation in dimensions.
SOLUTION: An attaching structure for an instrument panel is composed of an inlet port part 19 formed by flaring a bushing 20, an bag-like body part 16 which is continuous to the inlet port part 19, and which has an inner wall having an oval shape extending lengthwise in the longitudinal direction of the instrument panel 1. Further, a pin 10 is projected from the instrument panel 1, being directed to the bushing 20. After the bushing 20 is secured to a vehicle body, the pin 10 is inserted in the bushing 20 so as to lock the instrument panel to the vehicle body.
