Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide an assembling method capable of shortening the quality inspection process of a gear at the time of assembling this differential gear or the constituent parts of a power transmission mechanism for vehicles.
CONSTITUTION: A gear shaft pivotally supporting a gear is temporarily pressed in a carrier body and, after this carrier body is assembled in a case, torque is inputted through a carrier body, and friction torque at the time of rotation of the carrier body and rotational lost motion around a shaft are measured. 'linen, as to such a work that both are within the specified reference value, the gear shaft aforesaid is regularly pressed in the carrier body. With a suchlike assembling method, necessity of inspection for each gear simple falls into disuse so that those of inspection and assembling processes are sharply reducible.
