Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an assembled camshaft 10 which can rigidly join a cam piece 14 to a shaft 12.SOLUTION: An assembled camshaft 10 is constituted by inserting a cam piece 14 for partitioning an insertion hole by an internal peripheral face 14a into a shaft 12. A male screw 12a is formed at an external periphery of the shaft 12, and the cam piece 14 is fastened by a bearing nut 18 in which a female screw 18a corresponding to the male screw 12a is formed from its both sides. The cam piece 14 and the bearing nut 18 comprise tapered parts 14b, 18b, independently, and the tapered parts 14b, 18b plane-contact with each other. As the bearing nut 18 is fastened, a force in a direction in which the internal peripheral face 14a of the cam piece 14 separates from the shaft 12 in a radial direction of the shaft 12 is exerted on the cam piece 14 via the tapered parts 14b, 18b.
