PURPOSE: To easily and reliably couple a transparent article to a fixing tool without loosing a beautiful appearance, by fitting a coupling protuberance to a hooking part provided in a recessed part of an article and moving an inside cylindrical body downward.

CONSTITUTION: A fixing tool 1 comprises an outside cylindrical body 4 and a movable inside cylindrical body 5 which can be tightly fitted in it. The outside cylindrical body 4 is equipped with a tongue part 6 having a snap coupling protuberance 7 to be locked to a hooking part 2 (a snap coupling receiving part) provided in the recessed part of a transparent article and movable in the direction of its circumference. The inside cylindrical body 4 has a roll to fix the tongue part 6 and the snap coupling protuberance 7 in the hooking part 2. It is useful for a fixing device for a transparent article, a glass article for a luminaire in particular.
