Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To widen the range of selection of deodorization methods for exhaust gas and heighten the effect of a deodorization method by reducing the temperature of an exhaust gas exhausted from an apparatus for treating garbage.
SOLUTION: The exhaust gas exhausted from a treating vessel 2 is introduced to the inside of an exhaust pipe 8 and a city water W supplied through a water supply pipe 12 is sprinkled in a mist form in the inside of the exhaust pipe 8 using a number of nozzles 13, and thereby when the sprinkled city water W drops in the inside of the exhaust pipe 8, it is brought into contact with the exhaust gas G rising in the inside of the exhaust pipe 8 and cools the exhaust gas G. Since this can reduce the temperature of the exhaust gas G exhausted from the exhaust pipe 8, the deodorizing efficiency can be enhanced by improving the functions of nitrate bacteria and nitrite bacteria in a microbial deodorization method and by preventing the dew condensation on the surface of an adsorbent in a physical deodorization method.
