Abstract:

PURPOSE: To suppress the generation of thermal stress and prevent the diverting flow of combustion gas and the deterioration of thermal efficiency by jointing and fixing a bend plate on a receiving plate provided on connection part jointing a header and heat transfer tubes and providing a suspending support member on the bend plate.
CONSTITUTION: A receiving plate 10 is provided closely on the bottom side face of a header 2. Under the plate, a bend plate 9 is arranged in such a manner as to thread finned heat transfer tubes 1 and is welded to the receiving plate 10. Ends of the bend plate 9 are welded on a support plate 11, and are provided with a structure such as to be supported by an upper easing 3 of a boiler through a bracket and a fork end 5. The bend plate 9 is formed by providing curved bends correspondingly with arrangement pitches of the finned heat transfer tubes 1. A lug is not needed to be welded on the header. The finned heat transfer tubes are not required to be bent for the purpose of assuring space for passing a U-shaped rod.
