Abstract:

To provide a harmful chemical substance-removing apparatus which efficiently removes a harmful chemical substance from an object contaminated with the harmful chemical substance.

Soil 101 contaminated with dioxins is blended with iron powder in an agitating blender 102 and the contaminated soil with which the iron powder is blended is carried to an iron powder recovering apparatus 103. In the iron powder recovering apparatus 103, the iron powder is recovered by an energized electromagnet. Treated soil 106 from which the iron powder is removed is charged into an enzyme tank 107 storing an angular dioxygenase which is developed in a coil bacillus and then is extracted to perform enzyme treatment. By a series of these operations, the dioxins are efficiently removed and are detoxicated.
