Abstract:

To provide an apparatus for exhaust-gas treatment for a coal fired boiler having improved performance in dust removal and desulfurization.

A denitrification equipment 2, an air heater 3, a gas cooler 4, an electric precipitator 5, a dry desulfurizer 8 are provided in series on an exhaust-gas flow-path of the coal fired boiler 1. The controller 7 controls the operation of the gas cooling equipment 4 so that the temperature (measured by an exhaust-gas thermometer 6) of the exhaust gas conveyed to the desulfurizer 8 exceeds the dew point of water, and yet being at a lowest possible point.
