To provide an anemoscope and an aerovane having a rotatable wind direction shaft erected freely rotatably on a fixed stand through a bearing which can easily start to rotate even with a low wind speed by reducing a vertical load imposed in the bearing.

The anemoscope and aerovane in which the wind direction shaft 12 is rotatably erected on a body 11 of a fixed stand 10 through the bearing 13, wherein magnets 14 and 15 are installed on the wind direction shaft 12 and the body 11 respectively so that the same magnetic poles of the magnets are faced each other to repel.
