Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide an air valve having high freezing restraining capacity in use by providing a large number of fins and holes in a slide member, and constituting so that heat of introduced air can be transmitted to and absorbed in the slide member.
CONSTITUTION: A housing 12 of an air valve 10 has a first end part 12a and a second end part 12b. A slide member 14 having a first end part 14a and a second end part 14b is housed in the housing 12. Two or more valve cups 16 are installed upward on an upper surface of the slide member 14, and a plastic seal member 18 is installed on the peripheral edge. A plurality of slender slots 20 are formed on the upper surface of the slide member 14, and a thin cylindrical roller 22 is arranged. The roller 22 and the seal member 14 contact with a hot plate 36 of the housing 12. Since the roller 22 is used, an air load of the seal member 18 to the slide member 14 and the hot plate 36 is reduced to reduce friction of a device itself.
