Abstract:
To provide an air valve which can efficiently inhibit adhering of foreign objects to a small air hole and an area near the small air hole.SOLUTION: An air valve 1 is connected to a pipeline in which water flows and can exhaust air entering an interior of the pipeline to the outside through a large air hole 3a or a small air hole 3b. The air valve 1 includes: a valve box 2 connected to the pipeline; a lid body 3 formed with the large air hole 3a and attached to an upper part of the valve box 2; a floating valve body 4 which is disposed in the valve box 2 and may close the large air hole 3a of the lid body 3 from below; and a float valve body 5 disposed in the valve box 2. The lid body 3 is formed with the small air hole 3b and a pin body 6 which may be inserted into the small air hole 3b from above is held in the lid body 3. The float valve body 5 may close the small air hole 3b from below.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
