Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an adiabatic pipe capable of restricting an increased temperature in the pipe through heat exchanging with atmospheric air.SOLUTION: An adiabatic pipe 1 comprises a pipe 2 having fluid enabled to flow in it and an adiabatic member 3 arranged to cover the pipe 2. The pipe 2 is applied in an exhaust emission control device using SCR catalyst, the adiabatic member 3 has closed-cell structure so as to enable an increased temperature of fluid through heat exchanging with the atmospheric air to be restricted, so that an exhaust emission controller using SCR catalyst shows that the inside part of the pipe 2 is heat insulated against the outside part through the adiabatic member 3 and an increased temperature of fluid flowing inside the pipe 2 through heat exchanging with the surrounding atmosphere can be restricted.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
