Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an actuator with little power consumption during a motor rotation, no backlash, and excellent maintainability.SOLUTION: By adopting a brake unit, as a brake of an actuator, which rotates only a motor shaft 6 at a drive of a motor 1 if a lock release piece 10 is non-rotatably restricted by energizing a magnetic brake 11 of an excitation operation type and which does not rotate the motor shaft 6 even if torque is added to the motor shaft 6 if the lock release piece 10 is rotatably released by making the magnetic brake 11 a non-energized state, a brake capacity required for the magnetic brake 11 is made small, a power consumption during rotation of the motor 1 is made little, and it is made possible for an operator to easily move a driven member from an output side if the magnetic brake 11 is energized during power failure. Also, a rotation transmission from an input side of a brake unit 2 to an output side is executed only by the motor shaft 6, which leads to a configuration without a backlash.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
