Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an actuator that consumes a small amount of power during a motor's rotation, and enables an operator to easily move a member to be driven from the output side during the motor's stop.SOLUTION: As a brake for an actuator, there is adopted a brake unit 2 obtained by combining: a reverse input interception clutch 5 that, in a state in which an outer ring 10 disposed outside in the radial direction of an output shaft 9 coupled with a motor shaft 8 is unrotatably restrained, transmits rotation of the motor shaft 8 to the output shaft 9, and, against reverse input torque applied to the output shaft 9, makes the output shaft 9 be locked with the outer ring 10 to stop the output shaft; and a non-excitation operation type electromagnetic brake 6 that unrotatably restrains the outer ring 10 of the reverse input interception clutch 5 at the non-electrification time, and rotatably releases the outer ring 10 when receiving electrification. Thereby, electrification of the electromagnetic brake 6 is not required when moving a member to be driven by rotating a motor 1; the electrification of the electromagnetic brake 6 enables an operator to easily move the member to be driven from the output side.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
