Abstract:
To provide an actuator of a variable compression ratio mechanism that can be controlled with high accuracy while reducing cost.SOLUTION: In a variable compression ratio mechanism of an internal combustion engine according to the present invention, a stopper for inhibiting the rotation of a control shaft for controlling a link mechanism is located at a position where torque with which the rotation position of a motor shaft is held by a resistance part is larger than torque acting on the motor shaft from the variable compression ratio mechanism via the link mechanism and a speed reducer, out of the rotation range of the control shaft at least at the startup of the internal combustion engine.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 7
