Abstract:
To provide a direct current electromagnetic brake abnormality detection device which can prevent in advance burning of an electromagnetic coil which a direct current electromagnetic brake comprises.SOLUTION: A direct current electromagnetic brake abnormality detection device, which opens a brake against an energization force of an energization component by electrically conducting an electromagnetic coil 18 in the state the brake is operated by the energization force of the energization component, comprises: a detector 21 which detects a value of electric current flowing the electromagnetic coil 18; and a controller 101 which compares the coil current value with a reference value in the state that the coil current value becomes constant after completion of opening action of the brake, thereby determining existence or absence of abnormality.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
