Abstract:
PURPOSE:To prevent mixing of foreign matters and to ensure the operation by hanging transfer rolls and a scraper with stanchions installed vertically on a machine bed and a hanging frame connecting the tops of the stanchions and rotating the kneader tank side with a specified rotation velocity. CONSTITUTION:After holding each main stanchion 31 with clamps 35'', feed of air to a main cylinder 33 is stopped. On one hand, air is fed to each compressing cylinder 57,57 for each pressing roll after setting a necessary rolling pressure corresponding to the material to be treated. Then, when an electric motor M is started, a kneading tank 26 is driven with a necessary rotating velocity through a rotating disk 20 connected to an output shaft of a decelerator 5. While a kneading operation is continued for a necessary time in this manner, necessary pressure is exerted by the compressing cylinder 57,57 to the pressing roll 56,56, and the kneader is driven smoothly for performing kneading work as it is held at normal condition by radial ball bearings 45,49, etc., in a supporting body 40.
