Abstract:
PURPOSE: To output accurately pulses with many kinds of pulse width at a high speed, by specifying desired program addresses in an ROM, generating N-bit data, and outputting pulses with prescribed pulse width.
CONSTITUTION: A P-ROM2 is stored with a program for outputting a 4-bit code to preset terminals A∼D of a binary counter 1. An address generator 3 specifies addresses of this program to output desired data from the ROM2, and synchronized so that the starting state of a clock output is equal to the starting state of the 4-bit data. Then, desired 4-bit data of the ROM2 is outputted by the output of the generator 3 to obtain pulses with many desired kinds of pulse width from a counter 1. Thus, the pulses are generated accurately.
