PURPOSE: To increase the delivery, to reduce the scorch and to save the cost of energy, by measuring the temperature of melted resin by temperature measuring elements of a hollow screw, and keeping said temperature at a desired temperature.
CONSTITUTION: The electrical outputs from temperature measuring elements provided to the rotating hollow screw 9 are transmitted via lead wires to rotors, and further through stators and lead wires to temperature controlling devices 5.... The temperature controlling device 5... detect the temperuatures of the melted resin at various positions in the cylinder 2 by the electrical outputs from the tempreature measuring elements and operate and control band heaters 6... and cooling blowers 7... so that the temperatures of the melted resin may correspond to the desired temperature of the melted resin and therefore the temperature of the melted resin in the cylinder 2 is to be at the desired temperature of the melted resin. Accordingly, the temperature of the melted resin is kept at a suitable temperature at all times.
