Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a control device of a transmission capable of suppressing occurrence of belt slip in switching modes.SOLUTION: In switching a mode from a split mode to a belt mode, a transmission torque capacity of a clutch C1 at a release side is lowered (T1) in a stage when differential rotation (rotating speed difference between secondary rotating speed and output rotating speed) occurs at both sides of a clutch C2 at an engagement side. Thus the clutch C1 is kept in a half clutch state, slip occurs in the clutch C1, rotation at a continuously variable transmission mechanism side is blown up, and the differential rotation at both sides of the clutch C2 is rapidly reduced. When the differential rotation is reduced to a prescribed value, a transmission torque capacity of the clutch C2 is increased (T2). Before the transmission torque capacity of the clutch C2 is increased, a belt compression pressure of the continuously variable transmission mechanism is increased higher than a necessary compression pressure.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 6
