Abstract:
This wireless train control system (40) comprises: onboard control devices that are installed on specified vehicles in trains (10a, 10b) having redundant transmission systems, the onboard control devices being configured with identification information for communicating with one of the transmission systems; train information management devices that are installed on specified vehicles, the train information management devices collecting the identification information; a wireless onboard station that acquires the identification information from the train information management devices and transmits a combination of the identification information; a wireless ground base station (31) that receives the combination of identification information; and a ground control device (32) that, using the combination of identification information, searches a database in which the correspondence between the combinations of identification information and formation numbers of the trains (10a, 10b) is registered, and performs control for transmitting the search result to the trains (10a, 10b) via the wireless ground base station (31). The train information management devices acquire the search result via the wireless onboard station and notify the onboard control devices of the search result, and the onboard control devices perform control based on the acquired search result.
