Abstract:
According to the present invention, a transmission system comprises a transmission modem device and a spectrum decomposing device. The spectrum decomposing device uses n spectrum decomposing filters (wherein n is an integer equal to or greater than two) to decompose a transmission signal into n transmission subspectrums on the frequency axis. According to the present invention, a reception system comprises a spectrum combination device and a reception modem device. The spectrum combination device uses n spectrum combination filters to combine n reception subspectrums corresponding to the respective ones of the n transmission subspectrums. The n spectrum combination filters include a first spectrum combination filter applied to a first reception subspectrum on the lowermost frequency side and an n-th spectrum combination filter applied to an n-th reception subspectrum on the highermost frequency side. The passband of the first spectrum combination filter is expanded in the lower frequency direction. The passband of the n-th spectrum combination filter is expanded in the higher frequency direction.
