Abstract:
Provided in the embodiments of the present application are a wire cutting machine and a cutting method thereof. The wire cutting machine comprises: a cutting mechanism, which comprises a cutting panel, wherein a first cutting wheel and a second cutting wheel, which are configured to wind a cutting wire, are mounted on the cutting panel, the cutting wire is wound around the periphery of the first cutting wheel and the periphery of the second cutting wheel, a cutting area is formed between the first cutting wheel and the second cutting wheel, and a first preset inclination angle is formed between a vertical face and the cutting wire located in the cutting area; and a rotary clamping assembly, which is configured to clamp a material to be machined, and can drive same to rotate around its own axis. The deformation of a complete machine of an oblique-wire-net oblique lathe bed in a vertical direction is hardly affected by gravity, which is beneficial for reducing the effect of the structural gravity on cutting, improving the rigidity of a mechanism, and then increasing the stability of the mechanism. In addition, wire bows are more uniform. The rotary clamping assembly makes a silicon rod rotate automatically so as to further increase the cut-off efficiency of the silicon rod. The wire contact length of rotary cutting is uniform, and the stress is uniform, which is beneficial for improving the cutting wire bows, thereby increasing the machining precision.
