Abstract:
The present application relates to the technical field of fiber optic gyroscope manufacturing, and provides a wide-spectrum light source generation system and method, and a fiber optic gyroscope. The wide-spectrum light source generation system comprises an optical signal output unit, an erbium-doped optical fiber, a first processing unit, and a second processing unit; the optical signal output unit is used for outputting a pump optical signal; the second processing unit is used for receiving the pump optical signal; the erbium-doped optical fiber is used for receiving and converting the pump optical signal, and outputting a first optical signal and a second optical signal by radiation; the first processing unit is used for attenuating short-wavelength radiation light of the first optical signal and transmitting the processed first optical signal to the erbium-doped optical fiber; and the second processing unit is used for combining the second optical signal and the first optical signal that is processed by the first processing unit. The present application realizes adjustment on the intensity of the first optical signal, and actively controls the average wavelength of a light source, thereby counteracting the effect that an environmental temperature change may cause wavelength drift of the light source, such that the scale performance of fiber optic gyroscopes is improved.
