Abstract:
The present application provides a wearable device. The wearable device comprises an antenna radiator, a Beidou communication module and a processor, wherein the Beidou communication module comprises a satellite positioning unit and a short message unit; the satellite positioning unit is used for acquiring global location positioning information by means of the antenna radiator under the control of the processor; and the short message unit is used for multiplexing the antenna radiator to receive and send a Beidou short message under the control of the processor. The present application further provides a Beidou short message sending method, which is applied to a wearable device. The method comprises: when a processor of a wearable device has received an input signal, and/or when it is determined that the current environment meets a trigger condition, controlling a Beidou communication module to send a Beidou short message by means of an antenna radiator. The solution of the present application enables a wearable device to communicate, in an environment in which no network is configured, with the outside by means of a Beidou satellite, thereby meeting the communication requirements of a user in an emergency situation.
