Abstract:
Disclosed in the present invention are a waterborne polyurethane dispersion for an automobile coating, and a preparation method therefor and a use thereof. The waterborne polyurethane dispersion is obtained by reaction of raw materials comprising the following components: dimeric acid polyester polyol, polycarbonate polyol, and polyisocyanate, wherein the mass ratio of the dimeric acid polyester polyol to the polycarbonate polyol is 1:0.25-1:4, preferably 1:0.25-1:1.5. The waterborne polyurethane dispersion has excellent long-term storage hydrolysis resistance stability. Moreover, an automobile refinish paint using the waterborne polyurethane dispersion has good coating adhesion force and excellent coating water resistance while having other required properties (such as hardness). In addition, the waterborne polyurethane dispersion is also applicable to low-temperature industrial paints.
