Abstract:
Disclosed are a waste lithium battery positive electrode sheet recycling treatment device and a method thereof. According to a table of reactivity series of metals, iron is stronger than hydrogen, and thus iron ions in a ferric sulfate salt washing solution preferentially react with part of aluminum foil to generate aluminum ions and ferrous ions and hydrogen ions are inhibited from reacting with the aluminum foil to generate hydrogen. In addition, the ferrous ions and lithium nickel manganese cobalt oxides in positive electrode material powder undergo redox reaction, so that the hydrogen ions are consumed and the ferrous ions are oxidized into iron ions, and thus the iron ions achieve dynamic balance in a whole ultrasonic salt washing process and the hydrogen ions are always inhibited from reacting with the aluminum foil to generate hydrogen. Therefore, the use of ferric sulfate ultrasonic salt washing not only can reduce generation of hydrogen, but also can avoid the use of an organic solvent and generation of aluminum powder, thereby effectively improving the safety of the waste lithium battery positive electrode sheet recycling treatment device.
