Abstract:
Disclosed is a washing machine, comprising a washing drum for placing clothes, and further comprising a sterilization device the inside of which contains a sterilization substance; the interior of the sterilization device is in communication with the interior of the washing drum so as to release the sterilization substance into the washing drum. According to the present invention, by providing the sterilization device and the interior of the sterilization device being in communication with the interior of the washing drum, the sterilization substance in the sterilization device can enter the washing drum to sterilize and disinfect the water in the drum, thereby sterilizing and disinfecting the environment, the clothes, etc. inside of the drum, preventing harmful substances, such as viruses, bacteria, mold, and microorganisms, from accumulating in the washing machine, thereby improving the cleanliness of the washing machine, while preventing viruses, bacteria, mold, microorganisms, and so on in the washing machine from adhering to clothes and harming people's health.
