Title:
WAISTBELT BUCKLE
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2022/058574
Kind Code:
A1
Abstract:
Problem: In sufferers of overweight or pelvic tilt, the waist is slanted forward, its front portion thus pointing slightly downward. When an individual affected by either of these conditions wears a belt, the top of the belt thus pushes forward with the tilt and the front of the belt and buckle tend to face down, complicating its manipulation and impairing its esthetic appeal to onlookers. Solution: Waistbelt buckle, preferably of metal, silicone, or duroplastics, having a frame (10) or shield defining a front face of the buckle and an attachment bail (12) extending laterally along the frame (10) or shield opposite the front face and exhibiting a back (14) for bearing against a wearer's lower abdomen, characterized in that the attachment bail (12) comprises a bail prong (15) protruding opposite the back (14) toward the frame (10) or shield.
