A voice wakeup method and apparatus, an electronic device, a storage medium, and a program product. The method comprises: performing word recognition on a speech to be recognized, so as to obtain a wakeup word recognition result (S210); when it is determined that the wakeup word recognition result is used for representing that said speech comprises a predetermined wakeup word, performing syllable recognition on said speech to obtain a wakeup syllable recognition result (S220); and when it is determined that the wakeup syllable recognition result is used for representing that said speech comprises a predetermined syllable, determining that said speech is a correct wakeup speech (S230).
