Abstract:
This vibration actuator drive device comprises: a first vibration detection means 241 and a second vibration detection means 242 that mutually independently detect the vibration of the vibrating body of a vibration actuator 100; a timing setting means 251 that sets the timing of detection by the second vibration detection means 242 on the basis of a first output signal of the first vibration detection means 241; a sampling means 252 that samples a second output signal of the second vibration detection means 242 at the timing set by the timing setting means 251 and obtains a signed vibration amount; and a calculation means 253 that calculates a vibration vector in the moving direction of a moving body of the vibration actuator 100 on the basis of the signed vibration amount obtained by the sampling means 252.
