Title:
VERTICAL FULL-ROTATION SHUTTLE
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2016/088208
Kind Code:
A1
Abstract:
Provided is a vertical full-rotation shuttle that, even if the slip of the needle thread is poor, can reliably prevent breakage of the needle thread that occurs with rotation of an outer shuttle, and that can stably form high-quality seams. A vertical full-rotation shuttle (41) includes: an outer shuttle (46) that is rotationally driven in a rotation direction (A); and an inner shuttle (47) that is held by the outer shuttle (46) in a state where rotation around a rotation axis line (J1) is prevented. The outer shuttle (46) includes a circumferential wall (53) which is disposed extending along the circumferential direction around the axis line (J1), and in which a track groove (51) is formed in an inner circumferential portion thereof. The circumferential wall (53) includes: a hook tip (54) that is formed in a tapered shape towards the rotation direction (A) downstream side; and a lateral edge portion (60) that extends towards one side in the axial direction as the hook tip (54) advances towards the rotation direction (A) upstream-side. When the circumferential wall (53) is deployed in the circumferential direction, the lateral edge portion (60) is formed in a recessed shape that is recessed to the rotation direction (A) upstream side in relation to a virtual line (L1) which passes through both ends (54a, 60a) of the lateral edge portion (60).
