Claims:
CLAIMS

1. A device (100) which monitors, measures and analyzes the versatile, multifunctional vital environmental data and has process and device management capabilities in interaction with the values measured,

- characterized in that it comprises at least one emergency call button (1), at least one detecting unit (2), at least one screen (3), et least one management and adjustment button (4), at least one RGB led strip (5), at least one wireless communication/management module (6), at least one transceiver module (7), at least one transmitter unit (8) which may be IR (infrared), at least one receiver unit (9) which may be IR (infrared), at least one power input (10), at least one camera and microphone module (11) and at least one sound module (12).

2. A device (100) according to claim 1 , characterized in that it comprises a detecting unit (2) which may be a motion-presence sensor and/or an ambient light analyzing sensor and/or an ambient air analyzing sensor and/or an ambient volatileflammable gas analyzing sensor and/or an ambient temperature-humidity sensor and/or a vibration sensor.

3. A device (100) according to claim 2, characterized in that it comprises a wireless communication management unit (6) which may be WiFi and Bluetooth.

4. A device (100) according to claim 3, characterized in that it comprises a transceiver unit (7) which may be RF (radio frequency).

5. A device (100) according to claim 4, characterized in that it comprises a transmitter unit (8) which is IR (infrared) and a receiver unit (9) which is a smart learning infrastructure.

6. A method (200) for use in school classrooms and/or gyms and/or training centers and/or physiotherapy centers and/or elderly care centers and/or restaurants and/or disability wellness centers and/or entertainment centers and/or working offices and/or houses and/or hospitals and/or hotels and/or places of worship and/or public transport vehicles, etc., characterized in that the method comprises the following steps:

- When the emergency call button (1) is pressed for three seconds continuously, calculating the coordinate information (latitude, longitude) of the location of the device (100) and sending (201) emergency messages to the persons, institutions and organizations defined in the system using an sms, an e-mail, a notification and API methods,

- Providing audible and visual emergency and information messages by means of the screen (3), sound module (12) and RGB led strip (5), which are located thereon especially for the hearing and visually impaired people (202),

- Collecting measurements of vital and environmental data to be analyzed using an artificial intelligence in a database based on the data obtained instantly from the detectors of a motion-presence sensor and/or an ambient light analyzing sensor and/or an ambient air analyzing sensor and/or an ambient temperature-humidity sensor and/or a vibration sensor (203),

- Providing clean and fresh air in the environment constantly by means of an instant monitoring and artificial intelligence-based analysis of said data obtained, thereby managing the emergency and easy life processes (204),

- Operating the device (100) on the same platform as the cloud software and mobile applications, and/or on any server environment (205),

- In case that the air quality exceeds the limits specified by the authorities as a result of a real-time monitoring and an artificial intelligence-based analysis of the components of the air quality, such as temperature, humidity, CO2, volatile and flammable gas, etc. in the closed environments, initiating the emergency processes, managing the clean air process and bringing the air quality to the limit levels by operating the devices automatically by means of IR/RF/WiFi communication infrastructure, such as air cleaning, ozone disinfection, clean air circulation, ambient humidification devices, etc. located in the environment (206),

- Operating ventilation, air cleaning, ozone disinfection and humidification devices, etc. automatically, which are operated by said WiFi, RF and IR wireless technologies and managing the WiFi-/IR-/RF-operated devices with a remote mobile application (207), - Monitoring the indoor/outdoor environmental data by the location dependent remote users and managing the processes and devices, using the functions of the invention by being connected to the Internet in their environments via the WiFi communication infrastructure and a mobile application (208),

- Monitoring information on the weather forecast and air quality in that location in real time, and in case that the outdoor air quality exceeds the health limits, sending emergency messages to the relevant persons, especially the patients with COPD, RESPIRATORY TRACT and LUNG diseases and to the relevant institutions by an sms, an e-mail and a notification (209),

- When a reminder is sent automatically via a mobile application or the cloud system with a date/time, raising awareness especially for the hearing and visually impaired people by providing an audible message using a led lighting and sound module thereon, flashing a red light and displaying the message sent on the screen thereof, and managing the safe/easy living conditions due to its smart remainder feature (210),

- Providing a visual and audible monitoring by the camera-microphone module

(11) located thereon, allowing bi-directional communication, analyzing the sound and image data from the environment by the artificial intelligence techniques, and sending the environmental security alarms to the persons, institutions and organizations identified in the system by an sms, an e-mail, a notification and API when emergency scenarios occur (211).

Description:
A VERSATILE MULTI-FUNCTIONAL INTEGRATED SMART NOTIFICATION, ASSISTANCE AND SUPPORT DEVICE MEASURING VITAL ENVIRONMENTAL DATA AND MANAGES EMERGENCY PROCESSES AND DEVICES IN INTERACTION WITH THE MEASURED DATA

Technical Field

The invention relates to a versatile multi-functional people-oriented smart notification, assistance and support device which monitors and measures many vital indoor/outdoor data due to its improved technical infrastructure and the detecting units in areas, such as classrooms and/or gyms and/or training centers and/or elderly care centers and/or restaurants and/or disability wellness centers and/or entertainment centers and/or working offices and/or houses and/or hospitals and/or hotels and/or places of worship and/or public transport vehicles, etc., by connecting to the Internet via WiFi infrastructure thereof, wherein the device manages many environmental devices and emergency processes in interaction with the measured values.

Prior Art

People breathe approximately 11 m 3 of air per day and spend 80% of their day indoors. In case that no clean air is provided for indoors, the virus-containing particles may suspend in the air for hours and accumulate over time. The Covid-19 virus may be transmitted for 3 hours in the polluted air. The Covid-19 virus spreads rapidly through air in non-ventilated, drought, closed and polluted indoors and becomes infectious. The relative humidity in said indoors ranges from 40% to 60%. The Covid-19 virus spreads rapidly and becomes infectious indoors where there is a relative humidity level of less than 40 percent. The virus reproduces on fungi and mold when the indoor relative humidity level is above 60%.

The studies show that the complications related to pulmonary and cardiac health are associated with the air pollution. In addition, the comprehensive studies carried out by WHO (World Health Organization) and the scientists during the pandemic period have shown that people living in places where the air quality is low have a greater risk to be affected by severe Covid-19 cases and the spreading rate is also higher. In the state of the art, people may spend time for prolonged periods of time and may be exposed to vital risks, in unhealthy environments as they are not aware of unhealthy environments in an accurate, rapid and easy manner. Exposure to the polluted air for prolonged periods of time causes COPD, cancer, and cardiovascular, lung and respiratory tract diseases. Fatal outcomes are scientifically proven to occur as a result of spread of Covid-19 virus contained in the polluted air.

In the state of the art, there is a need for developing new devices in order to eliminate the disadvantages resulting from the absence of a solution and device which monitors and measures many vital indoor/outdoor data due to its improved technical infrastructure and the detecting units by connecting to the Internet via WiFi infrastructure thereof, wherein the device manages many environmental devices and emergency processes in interaction with the measured values.

Brief Description of the Invention

The invention monitors the vital indoor environmental data, such as the components of air quality like temperature, humidity, CO2, volatile and flammable gas, etc., in real time by connecting to the Internet via its WiFi infrastructure using an artificial intelligence. The objects of the invention are to initiate the emergency processes, to notify an emergency case, and to reduce the spread of virus and vital risks by managing a clean air process, operating the devices automatically, such as air cleaning, ozone disinfection, ambient humidification devices, etc., and supporting the air quality to be in the limit levels, in case that the air quality exceeds the limits specified by the authorities.

Another object of the invention is to provide functions for reducing vital risks, increasing quality of life and facilitating life by instantly monitoring and measuring the fundamental safety data and indoor/outdoor environmental data especially of the elderly and people who live alone at home, apart from the function of the clean and fresh air management. Said functions are described below.

1) It increases the clean and fresh air quality using the automatic operation function of the environmental devices, such as ventilation, air cleaning and humidifying devices, etc., which operate via WIFI/IR/RF (wifi I infrared I radio frequency) technologies, by monitoring the indoor air quality and humidity in real time. Thus, it provides a healthy living space by reducing the infection and spread rate of Covid-19 virus.

2) It manages the emergency processes by monitoring the fundamental safety data of the population in real time, such as elderly, persons in need of nursing and people living alone at home; in case of an emergency (Fire, Smoke, Earthquake, Gas, SOS Emergency Call), sends emergency messages by an e-mail/an sms/notifications to the relevant persons and institutions; and automatically operates the emergency devices, if any, (closing the gas valves, operating the hepa air cleaning device, etc.).

3) It raises awareness and manages the emergency/notification processes with written, audio and visual warnings for emergency and information purposes, especially for the hearing and visually impaired people.

4) Due to its IR wireless communication and smart learning infrastructure, it makes life easier by managing any IR-operated devices with easy task definitions/assignments.

5) It provides a life support of good quality due to its smart air-conditioning infrastructure with an automatic ON/OFF function for heating-cooling devices, such as an air conditioner, a combi boiler, etc., in the given value ranges and provides energy saving of minimum 20% in the energy consumption.

6) It improves the quality of life as a versatile multi-functional integrated interactive smart notification, assistance and support device.

7) In case that the air quality reaches risky limits in the closed environments, it notifies the relevant persons, institutions and organizations about fresh air entry by providing visual and audio messages on the device and in the mobile application, via an e-mail, an sms and API integrations. It also automatically operates the devices, such as such as ventilation, air cleaning, ozone disinfection and humidifying devices, etc., which operate via WIFI/IR/RF wireless technologies. It may manage the WiFi-/IR- /RF-operated devices with a remote mobile application. (TV, music system, satellite device, socket, illuminating devices, etc.).

8) The invention allows the location dependent remote users to monitor the indoor/outdoor environmental data and to manage the processes and devices using the functions of the invention by being connected to the Internet in their environments via the WiFi infrastructure and a mobile application.

9) The invention is able to monitor information on the weather forecast and air quality in real time and in case that the outdoor air quality exceeds the health limits, may recommend “NOT TO GO OUTSIDE” by sending emergency messages to the relevant persons, especially the patients with COPD, RESPIRATORY TRACT and LUNG diseases, and to the relevant institutions by an sms, an e-mail and a notification. The invention raises awareness by giving all emergency and information messages which will be obtained with the screen, sound and led modules thereon visually and audibly, especially for the hearing and visually impaired people.

10) The invention raises awareness especially for the hearing and visually impaired people by providing an audible message using a led lighting and sound module thereon, flashing a red light and displaying the message sent on the screen thereof, when a reminder is sent automatically via a mobile application and the cloud system with a date/time, and manages the safe/easy living conditions due to its smart remainder feature. Messages may be sent manually, by giving date/time, when emergency processes are detected or by creating smart scenarios from the cloud system.

11) The invention is able to visually and audibly monitor the environment with a microphone and camera modules (11) thereon, analyze the audio and video data received from the environment with artificial intelligence techniques and generate person and environment safety alarms when the defined emergency process occurs.

12) Apart from the functions of the invention described above, the invention may generate new functions via a user’s mobile application by using the advanced cloud infrastructure and rule engine feature in addition to the functions of the invention. Examples are indoor environments, school classrooms, corridors and cafes, restaurants, entertainment centers, work offices, houses, hospitals, hotels, nursing homes, places of worship, public transportation vehicles, taxis, minibuses, toilets and service vehicles, etc.

Detailed Description of the Invention

The device (100) of the invention comprises at least one emergency call button (1), at least one detecting unit (2), at least one screen (3), at least one management and adjustment button (4), at least one rgb led strip (5), at least one wireless communication and management module (6), at least one transceiver module (7), at least one transmitter module (8), at least one receiver unit (9), at least one power input (10), at least one camera and microphone module (11), and at least one sound module (12).

In a preferred embodiment of the invention, said detecting unit (2) may be a motionpresence sensor and/or an ambient light analyzing sensor and/or an ambient air analyzing sensor and/or an ambient combustible gas analyzing sensor and/or an ambient temperature-humidity sensor and/or a vibration sensor.

In a preferred embodiment of the invention, said RGB led strip (5) a RGB led and a RGB led strip.

In a preferred embodiment of the invention, said wireless communication and management module (6) may be WiFi and Bluetooth. Due to the Wifi/Bluetooth infrastructure, it is possible to remotely manage other media devices and emergency processes by connecting to the Internet in the environment. In a preferred embodiment of the invention, said transceiver module (7) may be a RF (radio frequency).

In a preferred embodiment of the invention, said transmitter unit (8) and receiver unit (9) may be IR (infrared).

In a preferred embodiment of the invention, said camera and microphone module (11) may be a combined module of a camera and microphone having varying image and sound quality, or the camera and the microphone may be separate modules.

In a preferred embodiment of the invention, said sound module (12) may be a speaker.

The device (100) of the invention operated according to the following steps of the method (200).

Operating ventilation, air cleaning, ozone disinfection and humidification devices, etc. automatically, which are operated by said WiFi, RF and IR wireless technologies and managing the WiFi-/IR-/RF-operated devices with a remote mobile application (207),

Monitoring the indoor/outdoor environmental data by the location dependent remote users and managing the processes and devices, using the functions of the invention by being connected to the Internet in their environments via the WiFi infrastructure and a mobile application (208),

Monitoring information on the weather forecast and air quality in that location in real time, and in case that the outdoor air quality exceeds the health limits, sending emergency messages to the relevant persons, especially the patients with COPD, RESPIRATORY TRACT and LUNG diseases and to the relevant institutions by an sms, an e-mail and a notification (209),

- When a reminder is sent automatically via a mobile application and the cloud system with a date/time, raising awareness especially for the hearing and visually impaired people by providing an audible message using a led lighting and sound module thereon, flashing a red light and displaying the message sent on the screen thereof, and managing the safe/easy living conditions due to its smart remainder feature (210),

Providing a visual and audible monitoring by the camera-microphone module (11) located thereon, allowing bi-directional communication, analyzing the sound and image data from the environment by the artificial intelligence techniques, and sending the environmental security alarms to the persons, institutions and organizations identified in the system by an sms, an e-mail, a notification and API when emergency scenarios occur (211).

The ambient light analysis data are obtained by the detecting unit (2) located on the device (100). The device (100) performs the steps together with the smart scenarios generated by evaluating said data based on the ambient light intensity data and thus, manages the processes of providing easy and comfortable living conditions of the environment. For example, if the environment is dark, it may operate the environment illuminating devices automatically, (a light bulb, a socket). The limit value of the light intensity is parametric and determined by the user.

Apart from the functions of the invention described above, the device (100) may generate new functions via a user’s mobile application (200) by using the advanced cloud infrastructure and rule engine feature in addition to the functions of the invention.

Said device (100) provides the required emergency information processes when the emergency call button (1) is pressed for three seconds continuously.

If the he emergency call button (1) is pressed for 3 seconds continuously:

1) Display a SOS Message on the screen (3) & RED LED Lighting Active & Audible Warning

2) Obtain the coordinate information (latitude, longitude) of the location where the device is present

3) Send a coordinate and Emergency Notification to the defined persons, institutions and organizations (an sms, an e-mail, a notification, API)

Said device (100) obtains the data of the ambient air quality by means of the detecting unit (2). It performs the necessary steps by evaluating said data based on the limit values of the air quality.

If Internal Air Quality (AQI) exceeds the Limit:

1) Display a SOS Message on the screen (3) & RED LED Lighting Active & Audible Warning

2) Send a coordinate and Emergency Notification to the defined persons, institutions and organizations (an sms, an e-mail, a notification, API)

3) Ventilation, Hepa Air Cleaning, Ozone disinfection, etc. are enabled.

Said device (100) obtains the ambient air analysis and/or the ambient volatileflammable gas analysis and/or vibration data by means of the detecting unit (2). It performs the necessary steps by evaluating said data based on the fundamental safety data and thus, manages the emergency processes. (Fire, Smoke, Earthquake, Gas)

If a quake, smoke, or gas is detected: 1) Display a SOS Message on the screen (3) & RED LED Lighting Active & Audible Warning

2) Send a coordinate and Emergency Notification to the defined persons, institutions and organizations (an sms, an e-mail, a notification, API)

3) The gas valve is closed.

Said device (100) obtains the ambient temperature-humidity data by means of the detecting unit (2). It performs the necessary steps by evaluating said data based on the limit values of the humidity quality and thus, manages the processes of providing a continuous comfortable living conditions of the environment. The limit values of the temperature and humidity are parametric and determined by the user.

If the Humidity Quality exceeds the Limit:

1) Display a SOS Message on the screen (3) & RED LED Lighting Active & Audible Warning

2) The humidifying Device is switched on.

If the temperature is < 20°C:

1) Then display a message on the screen (3), indicating the Temperature Value and Combi Turned On

2) The thermostat of the combi boiler is turned on.

If the temperature is >23°C:

1) Then display a message on the screen (3), indicating the Temperature Value and Combi Turned Off

2) The thermostat of the combi boiler is turned off.

If the temperature is >30°C:

1) Then display a message on the screen (3), indicating the Temperature Value and Air Conditioner Turned On

2) The air conditioner is turned on.

If the temperature is < 22°C:

1) Then display a message on the screen (3), indicating the Temperature Value and Air Conditioner Turned Off

2) The air conditioner is turned off. If the temperature is >50°C:

1) Display a SOS Message on the screen (3) & Red Led Lighting Active & Audible Warning

2) Send a coordinate and Emergency Notification to the defined persons, institutions and organizations (an sms, an e-mail, a notification, API)

Said device (100) obtains the ambient light analysis data by means of the detecting unit (2). It performs the necessary steps by evaluating said data based on the ambient light intensity data and thus, manages the processes of providing easy and comfortable living conditions of the environment. The limit value of the light intensity is parametric and determined by the user.

If the light intensity < Night Limit Value

1) A light (a socket, a light bulb, etc.) is turned on.

If the light intensity > Daytime Limit Value

1) A light (a socket, a light bulb, etc.) is turned off.

Said device (100) obtains the motion-presence data by means of the detecting unit (2). It performs the necessary steps by evaluating said data based on the ambient motion & presence data and thus, manages the processes of providing safe and easy living conditions of the environment.

If a motion/presence is detected and the Light Intensity < Night Limit Value:

1) A light (a socket, a light bulb, etc.) is turned on

If no motion/presence is detected for a long time:

1) A light (a socket, a light bulb, etc.) is turned on.

2) Send a message of “No Motion/Presence” (an sms, an e-mail, a notification, API)

3) Send a coordinate and Emergency Notification to the defined persons, institutions and organizations (an sms, an e-mail, a notification, API)

Said device (100) raises awareness especially for the hearing and visually impaired people by providing an audible message using an RGB led strip (5) and sound module (12) thereon, flashing a red light and displaying the message sent on the screen (3) thereof, when a reminder is sent via a mobile application and the cloud system with a date/time, and manages the safe and easy living conditions due to its smart remainder feature. Messages may be sent manually, by giving date/time, when emergency processes are detected or by creating smart scenarios in the cloud system.

If a Manuel Message is sent via a Mobile Application:

1) Display a message sent from the mobile application on the screen (3)

2) Red Led Lighting Active & Audible Warning

3) Send a coordinate and Emergency Notification to the defined persons, institutions and organizations (an sms, an e-mail, a notification, API)

If an Automatic Reminder Formed From the Cloud System With a Date/Time is sent:

1) Display the reminder from the cloud system on the screen (3) (for example, medication time, activity time, etc.)

2) Red Led Lighting Active & Audible Warning

3) Send a coordinate and Emergency Notification to the defined persons, institutions and organizations (an sms, an e-mail, a notification, API)

If an Emergency Case is detected:

1) Display an Emergency Message on the Screen (3) (for example, Poor Air Quality, Quake Detected, Gas Detected)

2) Red Led Lighting Active & Audible Warning

3) Send a coordinate and Emergency Notification to the defined persons, institutions and organizations (an sms, an e-mail, a notification, API)

Said device (100) allows the location dependent remote users or local users to monitor the indoor/outdoor (air, humidity, CO2, etc.) data and to manage the processes and devices by means of a mobile application by being connected to the Internet in their environments by a wireless communication/management module (6) and a mobile application, or the management-adjustment buttons (4) of the device (100), respectively.

If the Corresponding Management-Adjustment Button (4) is Pressed, or the Device Values are Requested from the Mobile Application:

1) Display the Indoor Values (temperature, humidity, air quality, light value, quake) on the Screen (3) and in the Mobile Application 2) Display the Outdoor Values (weather forecast, air quality pm2.5) on the Screen (3) and in the Mobile Application

If a Manuel Device Management Command is sent via the Mobile Application:

1) Send the command from the mobile application to the environment to be managed by IR/RF/WiFi

Said device (100) is able to monitor information on local time, date, sunrise, sunset, weather forecast and air quality, etc. in real time, and in case that the outdoor air quality exceeds the health limits, may recommend “not to go outside” by sending emergency messages to the relevant persons, especially the patients with COPD, RESPIRATORY TRACT and LUNG diseases, and to the relevant institutions by an sms, an e-mail and a notification.

If External Air Quality PM2.5 exceeds the Limit:

1) Display a SOS & Not to Go Outside Message on the screen (3) & Red Led Lighting Active & Audible Warning

2) Send a coordinate and Emergency Notification to the defined persons, institutions and organizations (an sms, an e-mail, a notification, API)
