Provided are a vehicle seat having a posture correction function, according to the present invention, and a control method therefor, the vehicle seat comprising: a seat unit including a left seat portion on which a left hip of a passenger is seated and a right seat portion on which a right hip is seated; a pressure sensing unit which senses each of a pressure applied to the left seat portion and a pressure applied to the right seat portion; a driving unit which operates the seat unit; and a control unit which controls the operation of the seat unit on the basis of a pressure sensed by the pressure sensing unit, wherein the control unit compares the pressure of the left seat portion and the pressure of the right seat portion with each other, which are sensed by the pressure sensing unit, and if there is a pressure difference, derives a set value that allows the pressure difference to be lower than a current difference, and the driving unit adjusts, according to the set value, each of a height of the left seat portion and a height of the right seat portion.
