Abstract:
Disclosed in the present invention is a vehicle safety monitoring system based on the Internet of Things. The system comprises a tire pressure real-time monitoring and early warning unit, which serves as an Internet of Things sensing layer, a vehicle overheating monitoring and early warning unit and/or a new energy vehicle lithium ion power battery explosion prevention and control unit, a vehicle-mounted gateway unit, which serves as an Internet of Things transmission layer, an alarm prompt unit, which serves as an Internet of Things application layer, and a remote management unit. The system can automatically monitor vehicle safety monitoring information, provides a sound and light early warning and alarm or a voice prompt for a driver when a vehicle is in danger so as to alert the driver to get off and check the vehicle in a timely manner, and automatically handles a power battery explosion early warning and alarm condition by means of a battery explosion suppression module, etc., such that traffic safety accidents caused by vehicle tire bursts, vehicle body overheating and power battery explosion, and vehicle spontaneous combustion and vehicle explosion events are prevented.
