Abstract:
A vehicle interior component, comprising: a base (10), which provides a storage space (13); a cover body (50) configured to rotate relative to the base (10) between a closed position and an open position so as to cover or uncover the storage space (13); a first lock mechanism configured to lock a first side of the cover body (50) on the base (10) or unlock same from the base (10); a second lock mechanism configured to lock a second side of the cover body (50) on the base (10) or unlock same from the base (10); and a protection mechanism configured to slide between a connection position where same is connected to any one of the first lock mechanism and the second lock mechanism and a disconnection position where same is disconnected from both the first lock mechanism and the second lock mechanism. After the first side of the cover body (50) is unlocked, the protection mechanism is connected to the first lock mechanism, so that the first lock mechanism limits the second lock mechanism to perform unlocking; and after the second side of the cover body (50) is unlocked, the protection mechanism is connected to the second lock mechanism, so that the second lock mechanism limits the first lock mechanism to perform unlocking. By means of the vehicle interior component, after one side of the cover body is opened, the opening of the other side thereof is limited, so that the cover body is prevented from falling off.
