Abstract:
This vehicle display device (1) comprises: a housing (2); a liquid crystal display element (3) that is contained in the housing; a mirror that is contained in the housing and that reflects a display light (Lt) outputted from the liquid crystal display element toward a windshield (110) of a vehicle (100); a transparent plate-shaped thermal conduction member (5) that is placed in contact with one of a display surface (3a) and a back surface (3b) of the liquid crystal display element; and a heat dissipation-promoting means (50). The housing has a through-hole into which the thermal conduction member can be inserted. The thermal conduction member has a protrusion part (5a) that is passed through the through-hole and protrudes therefrom into a space outside the housing. The heat dissipation-promoting means promotes dissipation of heat from the protrusion part.
