Abstract:
A vehicle control device according to the present invention includes: an analysis unit that analyzes a road surface condition from an image captured by an image-capturing device for capturing an image of a road surface in a traveling direction of a vehicle; a switching unit that switches a control mode indicating the level of control related to traveling of the vehicle on the basis of the road surface condition and vehicle characteristics based on information detected by an on-vehicle sensor; and a control unit that controls the vehicle in the switched control mode.
