Abstract:
A vehicle control device (1) according to an embodiment comprises a controller (2). When output limiting of a battery (10) is performed, the controller (2) implements torque limiting for limiting the output torque of a motor (30) that receives a power supply from the battery (10) and drives the vehicle. When releasing the torque limiting, the controller (2) changes the output torque on the basis of the changing direction of an output value of an accelerator (40) during a release time control for causing the output torque to approach a required torque based on the output value of the accelerator (40).
