Abstract:
This variable nozzle device for a variable-capacity-type turbocharger comprises: a first annular member; a second annular member which forms an exhaust gas flow channel between the first annular member and the second annular member; a plurality of variable nozzle vanes which are turnable; a spacer member disposed in the exhaust gas flow channel such that spacing between the first annular member and the second annular member is maintained; and a fixed vane which is fixed at a position between the spacer member and a downstream-side variable nozzle vane in the exhaust gas flow channel.
