Abstract:
A valve plate (50) of a hydraulic motor has a first pressure port (51) and a second pressure port (52) which alternately communicate with a cylinder bore (42) of a cylinder block (40) as the valve plate (50) relatively rotates in both directions in contact with an end surface (40a) of the cylinder block (40). A plurality of pad oil grooves (58) communicating with an annular oil groove (54) and opening toward the end face (40a) of the cylinder block (40) are provided at outer peripheries of the first pressure port (51) and the second pressure port (52), in a pad area (57) between radial oil grooves (55). The plurality of pad oil grooves (58) are provided such that the ratio of the opening area thereof to the end face (40a) of the cylinder block (40) is greater in two end portions closer to the radial oil grooves (55) compared to in a central portion away from the radial oil groove (55) in the circumferential direction of the relative rotation.
