Description:
UNIVERSAL SUPPORT FOR CHILDREN'S HYGIENE

DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION

The device presented in this patent application, hereinafter referred to as "Child hygiene support" or "Device", is a children's support/chair, falling under the category of children's hygiene devices, used as suggested in the attached images (Fig. 1 - Fig. 6), to achieve the child's hygiene, especially the intimate one.

Several supports for children's hygiene are known, but their disadvantage is that they can only be used for infants (CN208463917U, KR101978863B1, CN208837767U, ITT020101008A1), they are designed to be used only at the sink, they do not have adjustable versions.

There is also a support for children's hygiene, used for bidets, ITSS20120006A1, indicated to be made of wood, but its disadvantage is that it cannot be used at the sink, bathtub or shower cabin, etc., it is not sufficient retentive in terms of the child sliding forward, it is not fixed against sliding by rotation or the device sliding forward, it has no adjustable variants.

The technical problem that the invention solves is to provide a support for children's hygiene, especially the intimate one, which can be used on a horizontal or inclined surface, on a sink, bidet, bathtub, shower cabin, etc. The solutions we propose, for this support, adjustable or fixed, should be able to be used for most age groups, up to about 6 years, who need assistance in this regard, be as safe and comfortable as possible for children and for operators.

The support for achieving children's hygiene, according to the presented solutions, solves the proposed technical problem, in that it is composed of a chassis supported on the upper surface of a sink, bidet, etc., being fixed to their faucet or being placed on adjustable supports, possibly with suction cups, inside a sink, bidet, bathtub or shower, etc. fact that prevents the device from sliding, or being mounted as an intermediate toilet cover. The chassis supports two lateral support sectors of the children's toilet, retentive by existing concavities in terms of their sliding when seated, having a backrest and a cut-out, on the opposite side of the backrest, smaller than the maximum distance between the support sectors of toilet, however, enough to allow the children's intimate hygiene to be carried out. The child is also supported by the safety belts, the side bars, the supports for the legs, thighs or calves.

The invention presents the following advantages:

- it is a device that supports the weight of the child, eliminating the discomfort and injuries that can result from being supported by an adult, during daily intimate hygiene.

- features accessories for fixing the device itself, through suction cups, non-slip contact surfaces, mechanisms for fixing faucets or being fixed as a toilet cover, as well as ensuring the stability and comfort of the child through the shape of the seat, backrest, belts, foot supports , side rods, etc.

-it can be addressed to a wide range of age and weight, in the case of adjustable devices, ensuring a long duration of use.

- it can be adapted to be used in many ways, on a sink, bidet, bathtub, shower cabin, on a flat or slightly inclined surface, etc.

- it can be used for supporting and immersing children in water, in case of high fever.

-may have features that allow the intimate area to be washed without removing pants and stockings.

- it is easy to handle and adapt to the surface or the sanitary object on which it is used.

- it is relatively easy to sanitize, transport and store, being basically made of plastic.

-may have a cover that can block the communication space (19), turning the device into a toilet reducer, -may have a hose attached to a faucet that conveniently directs the water.

Next, two of the three proposed solutions for making the device are presented in the numbered figures from Fig. 1 in Fig. 6, which represents:

-Fig. 1, Solution 1, superior-lateral view of the device, with the components numbered from 1 to 19, according to a first embodiment of the invention.

-Fig. 2, Solution 1, superior- lateral view of the device, attached to a bidet, in the position of use.

-Fig. 3, Solution 1, superior- lateral view of the device, attached to a sink, in the position of use.

-Fig. 4, Solution 1, superior- lateral view of the device, placed in a shower cabin, in the position of use.

-Fig. 5, Solution 1, superior- lateral view of the device, placed in a bathtub, in the position of use.

- Fig.6, Solution 2, superior-lateral view of the device, with the components numbered from 1 to 20, according to a second embodiment of the invention.

As examples of the realization of the invention, I imagined three solutions.

Solution 1. According to the first embodiment of the invention, the device presented in this patent application, hereinafter referred to as "Support for the achievement of children's hygiene" or "Device", is a support/chair for children, included in the category of devices for baby hygiene, used, as suggested in the attached images (except Fig. 6), to perform the baby's hygiene, especially the intimate one, while the device is placed on a pliable surface, flat or inclined, on/in -a special bathtub for children, on a toilet bowl (water closet), when it is attached to the faucet (22) of a bidet (21) (Fig. 2), or to the faucet (22) of a sink (23), mounted on a support (24) that can support the weight of the child (Fig. 3), in a cabin (25) with shower hose (26) and floor drain (27) (Fig. 4), in a bathtub (28 ) (Fig. 5) etc., when all these listed sanitary elements fall within a size range considered usual e.

The material used to make the device must be sufficiently solid and light, waterproof, easy to clean, non-retentive, non-abrasive, as little toxic as possible, such as plastic, possibly food or medical, The descriptions presented in this patent application, including reference to the attached figures, are provided for guidance and are therefore non-limiting. The aspects presented, in the figures, or detailed in the text, represent an example of construction that is explanatory, but not limiting, in fact, the devices presented are susceptible to numerous variations and modifications, all being approximately within the scope of the same concept.

The device, with the components numbered in Fig. 1, throughout the present application, unless otherwise stated, is constituted as an assembly consisting of a flat chassis (2), with an approximately oval outer outline, with a number of slots where clamping mechanisms can be fixed (4 ) of the base of a vertical faucet, and not only, allowing the device to be placed in multiple positions, convenient for the user. The chassis has an internal cut-out, symmetrical about its long axis, approximately in the shape of the figure 8, and the two cut-out spaces (16) and (3), corresponding to the upper and lower halves of the figure 8, communicate with each other through the space (19). Note that the individual parts depicted may or may not be glued or cast together.

The first cut-out (16) is bordered peripherally, laterally with respect to its long axis, by two lateral, symmetrical sectors of toilet seat for children (1), in the form of sectors of a circular or ellipsoidal ring (annulus), with a convenient thickness and shape in section, fixed or adjustable, in continuation of which, in the periphery of the device, a concave backrest (5), fixed or possibly adjustable, can be located by means of two side telescopic rods (6) or by other means.

The backrest may have support arms/armrests (10) and safety belts (9), and along its entire length, on the median line, a central vertical groove (17), so that the spinous processes of the children's spine are not pressed .

The two lateral sectors of the toilet seat (1) present a cut-out (19), in a straight line or relatively in a straight line, on their side opposite the backrest, in the area of the center of the device, symmetrically, starting from a point located on the line imaginary center between them, towards the lateral periphery, right and left, of the two sectors of the children's toilet seat (1), so that the cutting lines form a convenient angle, the apex of which is oriented towards the backrest, which thus allows the communication of the first space cut out in the chassis (16), conveniently for the operator, with the second space cut out in the chassis (3), through the space (19), the remaining portion for placing the child, on the two toilet seat sectors , being as small as possible, but sufficient for a comfortable position. The minimum size of the communication space (19), between the two cutouts in the chassis, (16) and (3), will be smaller than the maximum internal distance between the two toilet seat sectors, in their central area, constituting thus a retentive element against the child sliding forward, by supporting including the bony contours of the upper parts of the left and right femur, the bones of the pelvis, etc., but the communication (19) will be sufficient to allow washing, under optimal conditions, of the area children's privacy. To reduce the same sliding tendency, the two sectors of the children's toilet seat (1) will be concave in vertical section through the vertical planes passing through or parallel to their long axis with the device in position of use, looking at it from above, which will be accentuated towards the communication area (19), between the two cut-out spaces, (16) and (3), of the chassis. The distance between the two sectors of the toilet seat, as well as the angle between them, may be fixed or adjustable. In the case of the adjustable variant, this will be achieved by positioning the toilet seat sectors, relative to the chassis, through common clamping and adjustment systems, for example multiple recesses, prefabricated in the chassis, and spurs/screws on the two toilet seat sectors or, another example, guide rails and clamping screws, with symmetrical, bilateral positions relative to the centerline of the device, identified by markings, etc. The assembly consisting of the toilet seat and backrest sectors is designed to support the child in convenient positions, including the almost horizontal lying position, in the case of the adjustable backrest or the device with fixed backrest intended for infants, and allows easy diaper changes directly on the device, followed by washing the intimate area. Also, in the case of devices for infants, the plane of the toilet seat sectors can make a convenient angle with the horizontal plane of the chassis, for better support of them.

Optionally, a cover for obturating the communication (19), between the cut-out spaces (16) and (3), can be used to transform the support for achieving children's hygiene into a reducer (support, coil) of a toilet for children. Also, a hose with a quick connector, or with a plug over the faucet of the sink, bidet, bathtub or shower cabin, etc., will be able to feed an irrigator, sprayer, etc. located on the device, in the area of communication (19) of the cut-out space (16) either with the space (3) in the case of Solution 1 and Solution 3, or with the outer space, in the case of Solution 2.

If the distance between the two toilet seat sectors is fixed, to support an infant, or small age/weight groups, additional toilet seat sectors (12), similar in characteristics to those shown, with dimensions appropriate, they will be able to be mounted over the assembly bordering the cut-out space (16), which shows from the factory the two toilet seat sectors, possibly designed for the largest age group for which the device can be used. The additional sectors (12) can have a fixed concave backrest, or possibly adjustable, by means of two telescopic side rods or by other means, side supports (13), possibly support arms/armrests and safety belts, and optionally, along its entire length , on the median line, a central vertical trench, so that the spinous processes of the children's spine are not pressed.

The second cut-out space (3), roughly oval, diamond-shaped, etc., can have, on the sides, supports, fixed or adjustable, for the medial (internal) or lateral faces of the thighs and/or calves as well as two fixed or adjustable supports for the lower part of the child's legs (7), which can possibly be positioned closer or further from the back of the device, or possibly joined by a connecting piece (15), which allows the passage and operation of a faucet, of ordinary size, under this assembly (Fig. 2). The supports for the lower parts of the legs and the binding piece allow washing a child's intimate area without removing the socks and trousers, but only by positioning them as low as possible, lower on the calves, in the area of the medial and lateral malleolus, where they will be supported by the shape of the binding piece and avoid splashes. In the case of the support for children's hygiene, intended for infants, an additional platform (20) Fig. 6, to support the legs, when the backrest is possibly positioned approximately horizontally, it will be possible to mount it at appropriate heights, to facilitate the access of the operator and for a comfortable position of the infant. This can be used in the raised position and towards the backrest, to support the back of the calves or the feet of the child, or, in the plane of the chassis, in a convenient position, for a position of the legs in continuation of the trunk. Especially, in the area of the cut-out space (3), on the outside of the chassis, there are recesses (4) that allow a fixing mechanism to be attached to the body of a faucet, directly or by means of an adjustable rod (11). The fixing mechanisms will have, on the inside, rubber or other materials that will prevent them from sliding on the valve body, in the tight position. Thus, a good fixation of the presented device is obtained, which allows better stability in the conditions of its use, for example, on a bidet or a sink. However, one of the operator's hands must preemptively support the child, in case of unpredictable movements, etc.

The chassis has, in the lower area, rubber inserts or other non-slip materials as well as slots for attaching a number of removable, fixed or adjustable supports, possibly finished with suction cups (8), (18), which allow the device to be supported on flat surfaces or inclined, such as the bottom of a bathtub, shower stall, sink, bidet, etc., at a convenient height. Also in its lower part, the chassis has adjustable or fixed spurs, or a cylinder segment, regular or deformed, continuous or discontinuous, which descends below its plane, in the position of use, to prevent accidental sliding of the device inside a sink, bidet, toilet bowl, etc. and possibly to provide support.

When placed in a bathtub (Fig. 5), the device can be used to immerse the child in water, at a suitable temperature, to lower the child's temperature in an emergency until the arrival of first aid teams to to avoid convulsions.

Solution 2. According to the second embodiment of the invention, shown in Fig. 6., the device can be reduced in size and characteristics, keeping the purpose for which it was created. The device presented, through this solution, is a support for achieving children's hygiene, included in the category of children's hygiene devices, used, as suggested in Fig. 6, to carry out the child's hygiene, especially the intimate one, on a suitable surface, on/in a special bathtub for children, at a bidet, at a sink mounted on a support that can support the weight of the child, in a cabin shower, in a bathtub, etc., when all these listed sanitary elements fit into a plaja of dimensions considered usual. The material used to make the device must be sufficiently solid and light, waterproof, easy to clean, non-retentive, non-abrasive, as little toxic as possible, such as plastic, possibly medical/food, etc. The descriptions presented, including reference to the attached figures, are provided as a guide and therefore non-limiting. The aspects shown in the figures, or detailed in the text, represent an example of construction that is explanatory, but not limiting, in fact, the device shown is susceptible to numerous variations and modifications, all being within the scope of the same concept.

The invention, with the components numbered in Fig. 6, refers to an assembly consisting of a flat chassis, with an approximately oval outer contour, which can be superimposed over the upper surface of a sink/bidet, etc., showing slots for attaching a fixing mechanism to the body of a vertical faucet ( 4) Fig. 1, directly or by means of a rod (11) Fig. 1, the same as in Solution 1. The chassis has an inner cut-out, approximately oval in shape (16), symmetrical to its long axis, bordered, laterally, by two side sectors, symmetrical, children's toilet seats (1), in the form of sectors of a circular or ellipsoidal ring (annulus), with a suitable thickness and shape, in section, fixed or adjustable, in continuation of which, in the periphery of the device, a backrest with the concavity upwards can be located ( 5), fixed or possibly adjustable, through two side telescopic rods or other means, optionally with a central vertical ditch, along its entire length, on the median line, so as not to press the spinous processes of the children's spine, optionally with arms/ armrests or seat belts.

The two side sectors of the toilet seat, as well as the chassis, present a cutout, in a straight line or relatively in a straight line, in the front part of the device, opposite the backrest, symmetrically, starting from a point located on the imaginary median line, between the two sectors of the children's toilet seat (1), towards their antero-lateral periphery, right and left, so that the cutting lines form a convenient angle, the apex of which is oriented towards the backrest, thus allowing the communication (19) of the inner cutout (16) with the outside of the device, conveniently for the operator, the remaining space for the child being as small as possible but sufficient for a comfortable position.

The minimum communication size (19) of the space (16) with the outside will be smaller than the maximum internal distance between the two toilet seat sectors, in their central area, thus constituting a retentive element against the child's slipping, by supporting including the the bone contours of the upper parts of the left and right femur, of the pelvis, etc. but it will be wide enough to allow access for children's hygiene. To reduce the same sliding tendency, the two sectors of the children's toilet seat (1) will have a concave shape in vertical section, through the vertical planes passing through, or parallel to, their long axis, viewed from above, with the device in the position of use, which will be more pronounced near the area of communication (19) of the cut-out space (16) with the outside. The distance between the two sectors of the toilet seat, as well as the angle between them, may be fixed or adjustable. In the case of the adjustable variant, this will be achieved by positioning the toilet seat sectors, in relation to the chassis, through common fastening and adjustment systems, for example multiple recesses, prefabricated in the chassis, and corresponding spurs/screws, on the two sectors of toilet holder or, another example, guide rails and clamping screws, with symmetrical, bilateral positions relative to the center line of the device, identified by markings, etc.

Optionally, a cover to block the communication (19), between the cut-out space (16) and the outside, can be used to transform the support for the hygiene of children into a reducer (support, coil) of a toilet for children. Also, a quick-connect or rubber hose with a plug over the faucet of the sink, bidet, bathtub or shower cabin, etc., will be able to feed an irrigator, sprayer, etc. located on the device, in the area of communication (19) of the cut-out space (16) either with the space (3) in the case of Solution 1 and Solution 3, or with the outer space, in the case of Solution 2.

In addition, an additional platform (20) Fig. 6, to support the legs, when the backrest is possibly positioned approximately horizontally, it will be possible to mount it at appropriate heights, to facilitate the access of the operator and for a comfortable position of the infant. This can be used in the raised position (up to approximately the height of the infant's femur) and towards the back, to support the back of the calves or soles, or in the plane of the chassis, in a convenient position for a position of the legs in continuation of the body.

If the distance between the two toilet seat sectors is fixed, to support an infant, or small age/weight groups, additional toilet seat sectors (12) in Fig. 1, with appropriate dimensions, will be able to be mounted over the assembly bordering the cut-out space (16), in Fig. 6, which shows, from the factory, the two fixed toilet seat sectors, possibly designed for the largest age group for which the device can be used. The additional sectors (12), in Fig. 1, can present a fixed concave backrest, or possibly adjustable, by means of two side rods, telescopic, or by other means, side supports (13), in Fig. 1, possibly support arms/armrests and safety belts, and optionally, along its entire length, on the median line, a central vertical ditch, so that the spinous processes of the children's spine are not pressed.

One of the operator's hands must support the child preventively, in case of unpredictable movements, etc.

The chassis has, in the lower area, rubber inserts or other non-slip materials as well as areas for attaching a number of removable supports (8), fixed or adjustable, finished or not with suction cups, which allow the device to be supported on inclined or flat surfaces, such as the bottom of a sink, bidet, bathtub or shower stall at a convenient height.

Also, in its lower part, the chassis may have adjustable or fixed spurs or a cylinder segment, regular or deformed, continuous or discontinuous, which descends below its plane, in the position of use, to prevent accidental sliding of the device from inside a sink, bidet, toilet bowl, etc. and possibly to provide support.

Solution 3. According to the third embodiment of the invention, a flattened version of Solution 1 can be used as an intermediate toilet cover. A support for the hygiene of children, attached to the hinge of the toilet bowl, or another component thereof, without a backrest and protruding supports for the lower part of the legs, for the medial and lateral surfaces of the thighs and/or calves, or with a folding version of them as well as without spurs or lower supports, but possibly with a hose that can be connected to a faucet, at one of the ends, with an irrigator, sprayer or nebulizer, etc. at the opposite end, the latter being in the communication area (19) of the space (16) with (3), being fixed or mobile.

The three solutions presented can be industrially produced, especially from plastic or other similar materials, and offered for sale through goods distribution networks.
